Prior to surgery, we highly recommend preanesthetic blood work prior to anesthesia. This enables us to see if your pet is a good candidate for anesthesia. We are able to offer this either days prior to your pet’s procedure or that same day (in most circumstances).
Our absolute aim is that the anesthetic should be as safe as possible for your pet. Your pet is constantly monitored using trained personnel and monitoring equipment including an ECG, oxygen saturation probe, and blood pressure during the procedure. Pain management is also addressed for the comfort of your pet.
